Hickman Supplies Ltd is a family owned and run business, trading from our premises in Gosford Road, Beccles. The company was formed by husband and wife team Gordon and Heather Hickman in July 1993 as a Plumbing and Heating Merchants. Today it has expanded to include a large bathroom showroom and the business employs twelve people… but the emphasis is still always on the personal service we offer to our customers. We are proud to remain an independent local store amongst the plethora of multi-nationals. We do not offer a direct fitting service for bathrooms, but our close contacts with local plumbers enable us to recommend an installer to best suit the size of your project if you are unable or unwilling to tackle this yourself.

The Plumbing and Heating Counter is open to the public as well as to trade. It stocks a wide variety of products including oil fired boilers, radiators (plus controls and valves), copper tube and fittings, water softeners and drinking water filters, salt for water softeners and dishwashers, tiling adhesives (plus grouts and trims), the Osma range of plastics (drain, soil & waste, guttering, Osma gold plumbing system), Osma thermaboard underfloor heating and hand tools. We also stock a range of paints and varnishes at trade prices and are open to both public and trade customers, Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 5.00pm and Saturdays from 8.00am to midday.

The Award Winning Bathroom Showroom holds over twenty bathroom displays, laid out in room settings to help you visualise how your current bathroom could be transformed. Displays of bathrooms include those from some of the biggest names in the industry – Armitage Shanks, Ideal Standard, Roca, Vitra and Sottini. Bathroom furniture displays include those from Utopia, Ellis and Roper Rhodes. The latest showers and shower enclosures are also displayed and include those from Matki, Metropolitan, Manhattan and Trevi. Shower valves from Aqualisa, Mira, Swadling, Trevi and Bristan are on show together with a variety of mirrors, vanity units, bathroom cabinets and accessories.

Whatever the size of your room and your budget, we will have a solution for you. We supply sanitary ware and bathroom furniture in a variety of depths and heights enabling our customers to create new or refurbish existing rooms, from the smallest under the stairs cloakroom to the largest country house complete bathroom. Computer aided design is available if required. All our suites can be mixed and matched so that no customer is limited to a “bathroom pack”…choose a bath from one range and a washbasin from another and we will supply them.
