Susie’s Favourite Recipes
Cheese Straws100 g (4oz) Self-Raising Flour
50 g (2oz) Margarine
75 g (3oz) Grated Cheddar or Red Leicester Cheese
1 Medium Egg, Beaten
* Heat oven to 180 C. 350 F. Gas Mark 4.
Lightly grease a baking tray.
* Rub the margarine into the flour.
* Add the grated cheese and stir well.
* Stir in the beaten egg until you have stiff dough.
* Roll out to the thickness you require and cut into strips.
* Place onto the baking tray and cook for 10 to 15 minutes.
