Friday 7th November
With the evenings drawing in there is no better time for the excitement of watching fireworks and on FRIDAY 7th November at Magpies’ Hockey Club in Weybread the Harleston Town Fireworks Spectacular will be back and once again filling the skies above Harleston with a magnificent display of fireworks set to music.
The event, now in its 21st year, is once again being organised by Harleston Lions, Harleston Scouts and Harleston Magpies Hockey Club featuring a professional fireworks display by Fantastic Fireworks.
Fantastic Fireworks have an international reputation and in recent times have completed displays at Catherine Palace, St Petersburg, provided Liverpool with firework displays to celebrate achieving the status of European Capital of Culture and have been responsible for the finales at the Proms in the Park and the Hampton Court Music Festival. They are promising another display not to be missed!
On the night gates open at 6.00pm with a BBQ, fairground rides and organ and other attractions to entertain until the bonfire is lit at 7.00pm so please come along hungry and enjoy an evening of excitement and fun!
Tickets will be available on the night at £6 for adults and £4 for children (between ages 5 and 16) or in advance until Wednesday 5 November at £5/£3 respectively from Kitchen Sense, Jacksons Fruiterers (formerly Gipsons) and Wiskas Pet Shop in Harleston or directly from Harleston Scouts and the Hockey Club.Parking is plentiful and free!
Outside of Harleston tickets are also available from Goodie’s Farm Shop (Pulham Market) and Simply Cards (Bungay).
Finally, our thanks go to everyone who supports this event in whatever way and we hope to see as many of you as possible at Harleston Magpies Hockey Club on FRIDAY 7th November for a true family bonfire night and professional fireworks display helping much needed funds be raised for Harleston Scouts, Lions and Hockey Club.
