Three Monkeys (15)
Origin: Turkey

Year: 2009
Run time: 109 mins

Director : Nuri Bilge Ceyla
Cast : Yavuz Bingol, Hatice Aslan, Rifat Sungar Cinematography : Gökhan Tiryaki

This dramatic film took another prize at Cannes for the director of Climates (shown at the Park two years ago). A hit and run accident results in a politically-inspired cover-up which has disturbing consequences for two families.

A film of formidable power, with wonderful lighting and camera work, Three Monkeys combines suspense, emotion and a hint of the supernatural.
