£255 raised for the Halesworth Community First Responders
The Queen's Head in Bramfield has been raising funds for the Halesworth Community First Responder scheme by donating 20p for every sale of a nominated dish on its menu since the end of July 2009. Along with customer donations this has raised a staggering £255. Community First Responders are unpaid volunteers who are trained by the Ambulance service to attend 999 calls in their local community to provide vital first aid and support until the paramedic arrives. All equipment including defibrillators needs to be paid for by the local community.
So pop into the Queen's Head at Bramfield, enjoy a meal and help a very worthy cause.
